Participants will discover how to transform mealtime battles into opportunities for culinary exploration and learning techniques that build positive relationships with nutritious foods. The session covers developmental considerations, sensory factors, and environmental influences that impact eating behaviors, while providing actionable methods for gradually introducing new plant foods. Additionally, this session will discuss the basic nutritional knowledge that all dietitians should have in order to effectively counsel parents and provide applicable tips for feeding plant-based kids/families.
